- The strength of our Tokyo office comes from our understanding of and dedication to Japan. This is illustrated by establishing our office in 1990 (making us one of the older Tokyo offices amongst international law firms in Tokyo) and continuing to expand over the years, including the employment of Japanese lawyers. Our foreign qualified lawyers and staff have lived and worked here for many years, allowing us to offer consistency and continuity. Furthermore, we continue to recruit excellent Japanese lawyers. Our policy and practice is to staff matters, wherever appropriate, with a mixture of our foreign and Japanese qualified lawyers, which allows us to offer the best combination of skills, experience and know-how to our clients.

Our international performance evaluation systems actively encourage and reward collegial and collaborative behaviour amongst our lawyers and offices.
