Lloyd Parker is the Managing Partner of the Tokyo office and works in our Intellectual Property, Media & Technology (IPMT) practice.
He has worked as an IPMT lawyer since 1988 and has broad experience in IPMT law, including trade marks, patents, copyright, designs, and trade secrets. Lloyd regularly works with our offices in Asia, Europe and the United States to provide multi-jurisdictional IPMT advice (contentious and non-contentious) to Japanese clients. Lloyd's work has included advice covering over 50 jurisdictions. His experience also covers advising foreign firms with IPMT issues in Japan.

Eiichiro Kubota is a Partner in the Tokyo Office and works in our Intellectual Property, Media and Technology (IPMT) practice
Eiichiro's firm, Kubota Patent and Law Office, merged with Lovells Tokyo on 1 January 2008. He specialises in litigation/counselling in the areas of patent law and all other areas of IP. Eiichiro studied at the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo University. He qualified as a lawyer in 1991, and as a patent attorney in 1993, and between 1991 and 1994 he worked at a well-known Japanese IP firm. In 1994, Mr. Kubota established Kubota Patent and Law Office.
