Lovells Worldwide

Belgium

Lovells has practiced European Union law in Brussels for many years.  The office first opened in 1972, and since then we have developed a vibrant practice in competition, regulatory and other aspects of EU law, as well as international trade.

We aim to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients in Europe, the United States, Japan and elsewhere.  Often this involves working closely with the European Union institutions, in particular the European Commission and the European Courts.  Increasingly, we act as a centre for coordinating EU or competition law matters at a pan-European level, working with national authorities, courts and, of course, our colleagues in other Lovells offices.

Our main working languages are English, French and German.  Our lawyers come from a range of European jurisdictions, and thus we are able to work in many other languages as well.
