Our recent work includes:
- advising on the reorganisation of Barclays Group independent financial advisory business, under the Group Reorganisation Act 2002
- advising on the outsourcing of back-office functions for Morley Fund Management Limited and Swiss Re
- advising on the creation and FSA authorisation of Union Bank UK plc, and the transfer of whole UK business of Union Bank of Nigeria to it
- advising House of Fraser on its agreement with Barclays Bank Plc for the provision of store cards, credit cards and other financial services to House of Fraser customers
- advising on the establishment of the first UK listed exchange-traded fund for Barclays Global Investors
- advising on the establishment for Martin Currie of two China Funds (the first foreign funds established to invest in the Chinese domestic securities market)
