Investment funds
The investment funds team advises on all aspects of investment funds and pooled investment, from the initial structuring of a vehicle, to the legal, regulatory and tax aspects of establishing and operating a fund. We advise on an ongoing basis in relation to the operation and promotion of funds as well as advising on and assisting in the implementation of fund launches. The group has a track record and expertise across the range of investment products (including alternatives to conventional funds, such as structured and insurance based products).
Regulatory advice
The regulatory team advises on all aspects of regulation. This includes advice on the regulatory implications of start ups and corporate transactions; high level "trouble shooting"; and advice on compliance systems and controls. The team seeks to maintain good relationships with the relevant regulators to ensure that we are aware of their thinking and that our views carry weight with them.
