The use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is well established and is actively supported by the courts, businesses and law firms. Lovells' international dispute resolution practice has wide experience in using ADR procedures in a broad range of sectors to resolve all manner of disputes.
We work with our clients to find the most appropriate method of dispute resolution, be it litigation, arbitration or a form of ADR. With this in mind, all our lawyers, from trainees to partners, have the experience required to advise and represent clients in the most effective way. A number of our partners are also accredited mediators and adjudicators.
Lovells is a founding member of the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) and is prominent in other leading ADR organisations, being an active member of the ADR Group and, in the United States, the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR). Our lawyers have also appeared in proceedings before the ICC, ICSID, AAA, ICDR, JAMS, the LCIA and ad-hoc tribunals.
