Marie-Aimée de Dampierre specialises in Intellectual Property and Media law.
Marie-Aimée advises on local and international disputes, principally in the field of trade mark law, design law, copyright law and unfair competition, including in relation to the internet (referencing, meta tags, domain names). She advises clients on the registration of trade marks and designs with the various French and Community Trade Mark & Design Offices (INPI, WIPO and OHIM).
She also assists clients with the drafting and the negotiation of IP contracts within the framework of the transfer of intellectual property rights or the restructuring or the financing of companies.
Between July 1988 and August 1991, Marie-Aimée worked as a trade mark agent in a large firm, specialising in trade marks. In September 1991, she joined a Paris boutique IP firm of high renown. While devoting most of her time there practising as a trial attorney, advising and representing French and foreign clients, she also set up a practice carrying out trade mark and design prosecution work.
She joined Lovells in September 1999 to develop the IP litigation practice in the Paris office. She became a partner in May 2001.
