Angela is a senior partner in our dispute resolution practice. She has wide experience of litigation and arbitration ranging from professional indemnity claims to disputes concerning confidential information, engineering, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and pension and trust funds including off-shore trusts. She has dealt with cases in the United States, in Spain, Pakistan, Bermuda, Bahamas, Switzerland, France, Cayman, Chile and Hong Kong. Several of her reported cases have led to important developments in the law.
Angela is one of our lead partners in professional liability disputes and has dealt with substantial claims of all kinds against professionals. She also heads the practice in contentious trust fund work, including pensions and is one of the leading experts in the UK on litigation involving pension funds. She has conducted a number of landmark cases in this area including Courage, British Coal, Walker -v- Stones, National Power.
She is a member of the City of London Law Society Litigation Sub-Committee and the Pension Litigation Court Users' Committee. She was a founder member of the APL Pensions Litigation Committee on which she still sits. She has a long standing commitment to pro bono work in the City and is on the Advisory Council of the Solicitors' Pro Bono Group. She is acknowledged as a leader in the field in all the major directories.
