Huub van Osch graduated in law from the University Maastricht in 1996. Following his graduation he joined the Employment Law Practise Group of Baker & McKenzie. In 2001 he graduated from the Post-Graduate Labour Law Specialization Programme of the University of Amsterdam (Hugo Sinzheimer Institute) and the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Together with Anita de Jong (partner) he joined Lovells Amsterdam as of July 2004.
Huub represents his clients in all kind of employment related matters (including litigation). His expertise includes reorganisations, restructuring, transfer of undertaking, collective dismissals, the dismissal of Managing Directors, employee health and safety and employee privacy. Furthermore Huub focuses on advising clients during Works Council consultation procedures and negotiating with trade unions on the terms of a reasonable Social Plan.
