Advising on a number of Turkish power projects with a value in excess of US$2 billion.


Advising project sponsors, commercial banks, monolines and the EIB on five major Greek motorway projects with the total value in excess of €8 billion.


Advising on six major Portuguese real toll project financings and refinancings with a total value in excess of €3.5 billion.

Shibeer is the head of the Dubai office. He is an expert in banking and project finance with extensive experience of general banking and project financings and re-financings, including transport infrastructure, PFI/PPP and major international energy and petrochemicals projects.

Shibeer has been described in the Legal 500 as “consistently excellent” in the delivery of services to clients. Shibeer has chaired and spoken at numerous conferences including on monoline wrapped financings and refinancings and Intercreditor issues in major project financings.
