Ingrid studied law in Frankfurt am Main. From 1992 – 1994, between the first and the second state examinations, Ingrid served 2,5 years as an assistant to Prof. Dr. H.-P. Benöhr, at the university of Frankfurt am Main in Law of Succession and delivered a thesis “Der Erbrechtsentwurf von Friedrich Mommsen – Ein Beitrag zur Entstehung des BGB” concerning the development of the German law of succession. She qualified in 1997 and has since worked with Lovells in the Frankfurt and – for a six months secondment – in the Munich Office. She became Consultant in 2005.

Ingrid started her legal career in the area of commercial and corporate law and advised public limited companies as well as family-held companies including reorganisations and disputes between shareholders and with managing directors.

In recent years Ingrid has specialised in litigation proceedings. In particular Ingrid has an extensive experience in post M&A disputes, legal liability for the statements in prospectus and actions of avoidance of minority shareholders against public limited companies as well as in legal challenges, claims against professionals, such as notaries, and all kind of commercial and corporate disputes.
