Klaas specialises in patents, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, licensing, copyright, trade marks, information technology, litigation and arbitration.

Klaas began his career at Nauta Dutilh, where he worked most of his time in the Intellectual Property group. On 1 September 2001 he joined Lovells as a partner.

Klaas is a member of the Intellectual Property and Information Technology group of Lovells, Amsterdam.

His practice includes all types of intellectual property work, with an emphasis on patent litigation. He is also involved in information technology work, particularly internet related litigation. Klaas has also considerable experience in commercial litigation and arbitration.
