Lovells partners with Peking University to develop international legal skills and legal risk management training programmes

The landmark agreement with China's leading law school cements Lovells reputation as the most established and innovative international law firm in the PRC  

On 7 May 2008 Lovells signed a memorandum of understanding with Peking University Law School to develop new international-standard practical legal training courses and materials for general counsel and other staff counsel of Chinese companies, other Chinese legal practitioners and other Chinese legal officials involved in international and financial legal issues.   


The agreement with Peking University Law School, China's leading law school is testament to the reputation Lovells has developed in China and follows on from the establishment of the Sino-Global Legal alliance in September 2007 for which Lovells won "Most enterprising Law firm of the Year" at the Legal Business awards 2008. 

Most recently Lovells in China was awarded "International Law Firm of the Year" at the Asian Legal Business China Awards 2008.  

Commenting on the agreement the Dean of Peking University, Zhu Suli said:  

"The law faculty of Peking University has a proud tradition of innovation amongst it members.  We are delighted to be able to partner with Lovells on this historic day for the faculty and our members looking forward to working closely with Lovells in developing these programmes."
