Lovells has won International Law Firm of the Year at the 2008 Asian Legal Business (ALB) China Law Awards.
The ALB China Law Awards recognises and promotes outstanding professional achievement and some of the best legal work of the year throughout China. The firm was shortlisted alongside Allen & Overy, Clifford Chance, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Linklaters, Shearman & Sterling, Sullivan & Cromwell and Morrison & Foerster.
Comment: This award follows on from our China practices' recent success at the Managing Intellectual Property Global Awards 2008 where we won China Foreign Firm of the Year Award and also at the Legal Business Awards 2008, where we won Most Enterprising Law Firm of the Year in recognition of the Sino Global Legal Alliance (SGLA) launch.
