The international Knowledge Management Department includes Lovells Professional Support Lawyers, the Knowhow Management and Library and Research functions.  The international Knowledge Management department is focused on improving organisational efficiency and the service to our clients by ensuring that our lawyers and support staff have access to the best internal and external resources possible.  By facilitating international knowledge sharing and supporting cross-border working, the Knowledge Management Department actively contributes to the delivery of the business' strategy.

The Knowledge Management Department is involved in a number of projects including document automation, the global internal “InterLovells” portal, managing and developing the global knowhow systems and a range of knowledge-based client services.

Lovells recently won the "Best use of Technology" award for InterLovells at the British Legal Awards 2007.

The British Legal Awards, hosted by Legal Week, recognise excellence within the legal profession and are judged by a panel made up of senior business figures and commentators from outside the legal profession.

At the 2008 Legal Technology Awards, Lovells KM team received the highly commended team of the year award.
